Why Our Prenatal Vitamin Is SO Much Better

Pregnancy is one of the most exciting, challenging, and rewarding journeys that a woman can experience, so having the right support system is everything. That’s why we decided to develop a prenatal vitamin that goes a step farther than all others on the market. Introducing, Baby Love

What makes Baby Love unique is that it contains 25 vitamins, minerals, and nutraceuticals that promote healthy growth and development of the baby, as well as combat symptoms like morning sickness. Unlike many of the “less is more” vitamins out there, Baby Love has the latest recommended doses of folate, iron, and vitamin D.

When we looked at the current state of the prenatal vitamin market, we saw a problem: most vitamins provide (some of) what baby needs, but neglect to address symptoms that mom might have throughout pregnancy. One of the biggest issues women face in the first trimester is fatigue, so we added riboflavin for a boost of energy. Baby Love is the first prenatal to include ginger to soothe nausea, vomiting, and heartburn, as well as 300% more vitamin B6 (which helps calm morning sickness) than our competitors. According to board-certified OB/GYN and Chief Wellness Advisor for Love Wellness Dr. Jodie Horton, “When I saw ginger on the list, I felt immediately more hopeful for my next pregnancy knowing the nausea may be a little less brutal!” Vitamin C, in tandem with iron, decreases the risk of constipation. Muscle cramps? Magnesium and pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) are here to save the day.

Expectant moms have a decreased immune function and are more prone to colds and infections. According to Love Wellness Expert and Registered Dietician Molly Knauer, “When you are pregnant, most medicines are out of the question so keeping your immune system strong is of utmost importance.” Baby Love has vitamin A, C, and zinc to help fight common infections. Baby Love is the first prenatal vitamin to include echinacea, which supports immunity during pregnancy. We even included a cranberry extract called proanthocyanidins (PAC), which reduces the risk of bladder infections.

We’re all for transparency, so here is a chart that shows how Baby Love stacks up to other prenatals on the market:

We give you more, because you deserve more. We can’t wait to become your BFF through your pregnancy and beyond.
